Flexing our thinking muscles on Thursday and Friday
Ever heard of food web?
Well, take a look at us creating our own food web showing the connections with yarn. Our class and Ms. Pearson's class decided to illustrate the interdependence on each part of the web during our nature challenge on Thursday.
Next, we decided to measure the perimeter of the school using the trundle wheels. Can you guess the size of the perimeter?

Friday afternoon's nature challenge involved using chalk to create regular and irregular polygons and them measure the perimeter. This was a challenged everybody to use their addition skills and mental math to figure out the total perimeter. Just look at the mindful focus!
